Bohdan Urban

Director, Digital and Information Agency

Bohdan Urban serves as Director of the Digital and Information Agency. He was appointed to this position in March 2026. The agency is responsible for the development and operation of key digital infrastructure and information systems of the Czech public administration. Prior to his current role, he worked for many years at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, where between 2017 and 2024 he served as Director of the ICT Operations Department. Earlier he also held the positions of Director of the Public Administration eGovernment Department and Director of the eGovernment Department. He also gained experience in the private sector. He served as Chairman of the Board of Pražská energetika Holding and as Director of the company Praha 10 – Majetková. Earlier in his career he worked at ČEZ as a project manager and at UPC Czech Republic, where he headed the legal department. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno.
