Bohdan Wojnar

Vice President, Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic (Czech Republic)

Bohdan Wojnar graduated from the University of Chemical Technology in Prague, where he majored in Economics and Management, and later completed additional international studies at the European Business School. Upon graduation he joined Kaučuk in Kralupy nad Vltavou, and two years later began a career at ŠKODA AUTO, where he held various positions in the economic department. In 1996 he assumed a high-level management role ŠKODA AUTO. Mr Wojnar has been a member of the Board of Directors for Finance at Volkswagen Slovakia, a.s. since 2006, and a member of the Board of Directors for Human Resources Management since 2008. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Human Resources Management at Volkswagen Slovakia, a.s. from 2009 to 2010, and assumed a similar role at ŠKODA AUTO, a.s., from 2011 to 2021, as a member of the Board of Directors responsible for Human Resources Management. In the past, he also served on the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV). Since 2013 he has been a member of the Board of Directors at the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, where he has also held the role of Vice President since 2023
