Marek Ebert

Chairman of the Council, Czech Telecommunication Office

Marek Ebert has served as Chairman of the Council of the Czech Telecommunication Office (CTU) since 2023, with his mandate extended in 2025. For over three decades, he has specialized in the regulation of electronic communications markets and postal services (having headed the Regulation Section prior to his appointment to the Council). He has a long-standing focus on implementing effective tools to foster competition and promote technological innovation within the telecommunications market. Currently, he is overseeing the development of the Office's supervisory competencies under the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the AI Act.
