Ondřej Malý graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, specializing in Journalism and International Territorial Studies (American Studies). From 2007 to 2012, he worked as a journalist for leading Czech newspapers Lidové noviny and Hospodářské noviny. Between 2012 and 2017, he served as a member of the Council of the Czech Telecommunication Office, in 2017 as the Coordinator for the Czech Republic’s Digital Agenda at the Government Office, and in 2018 as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. He is currently a consultant in the field of telecommunications and the digital economy.
