Brigadier General Radek Haratek is the Commander of the Czech Cyber and Information Warfare Command. He is responsible for building the Czech Army’s capabilities for fighting in Cyber domain and Information Environment. Before joining the Czech Cyber and Information Warfare Command in 2019, he spent most of his career in the Czech Special Operations, where he served in numerous command and staff positions including battalion commander. During his career, he completed a number of courses in the Czech Republic and abroad. BG Haratek is graduate of the Strategic Information and Cyberspace Studies at the College of Information and Cyberspace, National Defense University and the prestigious Rangers course. BG Haratek was deployed several times in foreign military operations. He served in Operation KFOR in Kosovo, Operation Enduring Freedom and ISAF in Afghanistan.
