Christian David is the Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Freedom and Democracy from Romania, having an extensive experience in political campaigns and electoral processes. He holds a PhD in Economics and Postgraduate Studies in National Security. At present he is Member of the Romanian Consultative Council for Sustainable Development and Trainer at the National Institute for Research in Informatics. Former Vice President of Liberal International (2009-2011), he was also Member of Parliament (2004-2012) and served in several ministerial positions in the Romanian Government.
