Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of Economic Growth: Opportunities and Challenges for the Future

Europe is at a critical moment as it strives to maintain its competitiveness on the global stage against other key players such as the USA and China. According to a leaked annual report by Mario Draghi on the EU single market and competitiveness for the European Commission, artificial intelligence will be a decisive driver of productivity. Technological innovations and the use of AI will be absolutely essential for further economic growth and increasing competitiveness. In the Czech context, it will be especially important how successfully small and medium-sized businesses – which contribute to approximately 60% of GDP – adapt to and effectively use new technologies.

How can Czech companies maximize their potential with the help of artificial intelligence? What role should the state play in this process? And how can the state work together with the private sector to create an environment that allows businesses to grow, innovate, and fully utilize the potential brought by new technologies?
